Energy Transition Day
July 24, 2026
As part of the Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2026 programme, the Consulate General of India, Edinburgh was pleased to participate in the Energy Transition Day, organised by the Department for Business and Trade in partnership with Scottish Renewables, bringing together Commonwealth partners and the Scottish energy ecosystem. Presentation on opportunities in India was made by Mr. Prashant Soni, DGM, SECI and Mr Bhaskar Thota, UKIBC. The event highlighted opportunities for collaboration between India and Scotland, in sectors including clean energy, grid infrastructure and carbon capture.
