Young Professionals Scheme (YPS) agreed as part of the India-UK Migration and Mobility Partnership, offers young UK citizens to come to India to live and work for up to two (2) years.

Who is eligible to apply for the scheme?

1. You should be between 18 to 30 Years of age.

2. You should hold a valid graduation degree

3. You should hold a valid Passport with at least 6 months validity.

4. You should submit proof of financial viability for managing expenses during the stay.

5. You should not have a minor child below the age of 18.

6. You should submit your application with the designated authorities.

7. You should not have visited India as part of the YPS earlier.

How to apply?

You are expected to put in your application for consideration under the YPS through the High Commission of India in the UK. The application will be considered only after submission and verification of the requisite documents and submission of appropriate fees and charges. The application fee is £720.
