The Consulate opens for the public at 9.30 am and closes at 12.30 in the noon. During the forenoon session only completed applications for various services are accepted.

The Consulate reopens for public at 4.00 in the afternoon and closes for the day at 5.00 pm. During this period applicants receive back their processed passports, PIO cards, OCI cards/Visas and other documents for which they had made an application on advice.

 The Consulate is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and certain other public holidays (Click here to know the list of public holidays observed by the Consulate).
