The Consulate General of India, Edinburgh commemorated the 165th birth anniversary of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore at Sandeman Garden, Royal Mile, Edinburgh.
Floral tributes were offered at Tagore’s bust, installed opposite the bust of Sir Patrick Geddes, his long-time friend and intellectual companion, a fitting symbol of India–Scotland’s historical cultural and scholarly links.
The gathering also featured songs and poetry in Tagore’s memory, celebrating his timeless literary and artistic legacy.
