IDY 2026 - Emirates Arena, Glasgow (28/06/2026)

Note:
Consulate General of India, Edinburgh, marked the final event of the 12th International Day of Yoga 2026 in collaboration with Patanjali Yogpeeth UK, Mother Earth Hindu Temple Glasgow and Scottish Indian Arts Forum at Emirates Arena, Glasgow. Yoga enthusiasts, dignitaries, and participants from across Scotland came together to celebrate this year’s theme: “Yoga for Healthy Ageing”, promoting mindfulness, wellbeing, and holistic health.
A special thanks to Minister Ms. Maree Todd, Minister for Mental Wellbeing, Public Health, Sports, Alcohol and Drugs and Ms. Elle Cheetham, Gymnast of Scotland for gracing the occasion with their presence.
The programme also featured an insightful talk on Ayurveda, a Wellness Ayurveda Stall and the presentation of awards to the winners of the Yoga Photography Competition.
