Consulate General of India, Edinburgh, today celebrated ICCR Day with a vibrant cultural programme featuring wonderful performances by children, reflecting the richness, diversity, and continuity of India’s cultural heritage.
The event marked the enduring contribution of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations in strengthening cultural ties and people-to-people connections between India and Scotland. Over the years, ICCR has played an important role in promoting Indian culture in Scotland through initiatives such as International Day of Yoga celebrations, the ICCR Chair of Indian Studies, scholarships and visits by cultural troupes and artists.
The Consulate expresses its sincere appreciation to Nikkan Dance Academy and all the young performers, parents, teachers, and community members whose enthusiastic participation made the celebration a memorable one.
