IDY 2026 - Glasgow Om Hindu Mandir (22/06/2026)

Note:
Consulate General of India, Edinburgh, celebrated the 12th International Day of Yoga in Glasgow in association with The Association of Indian Organisations (AIO), Glasgow & Om Hindu Mandir Glasgow.
With this year’s theme, “Yoga for Healthy Ageing,” the event brought together members of the Indian diaspora and yoga enthusiasts. The celebration also included insightful Ayurveda talks by Avi Lagoo, Ayurvedic practitioner, on “Ayurveda and Yoga: Harmonising the Science of Life with the Practice of Conscious Living,” and by Dr Sujata Sriram on “Ayurveda from a Modern Medical Perspective,” highlighting the holistic benefits of these ancient practices for physical and mental, well-being.
