International Women’s Day celebration

Consulate General of India, Edinburgh, in association with Networking Key Services Ltd. (NKS), hosted a special International Women’s Day celebration on the theme “Celebrating Women Who Bridge Cultures: The India-Scotland Connection.”
The event featured a documentary and an exhibition highlighting the remarkable Indian women & men, who helped build cultural links between India and Scotland.
It was followed by an engaging panel discussion by the women who were behind the project, Ms. Naina Minhans, Director of NKS and Dr. Friederike Voigt, Head of Asia Section, National Museums Scotland, the session was moderated by Ms Pavas Malik.
An inspiring evening celebrating women’s leadership, shared heritage, and the enduring cultural ties between India and Scotland. We thank our panellists, participants, and partners for an insightful event.
