The Consulate General of India, Edinburgh, in partnership with the Confederation of British Industry, Scotland, hosted an engaging India–UK Business Event in Glasgow, bringing together business leaders, policymakers & experts to discuss opportunities under the landmark India–UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement, especially for Scottish companies in India. A special session on the CETA was held by the two lead negotiators Ms. Nidhi Mani Tripathi, Minister, Economic, High Commission of India, London and Mr. Lyle Wilton Deputy Chief Negotiator, UK, Dept of Business and Trade moderated by Mr. Richard Heald UKIBC.

Insightful discussions were held on trade, investment & collaboration across key sectors, including food and drinks, renewables, life sciences, technology, and manufacturing. The event underscored the growing strength of the India–Scotland trade and economic partnership.
