The Consulate General of India, Edinburgh hosted a Welcome Reception for newly arrived Indian students at Scottish Universities.
Students were inspired by the live address from the High Commissioner of India to the UK Shri. Vikram Doraiswami, who encouraged them to excel academically & contribute towards nation building.
The event helped students understand how the Consulate serves as their ‘home away from home’, offering guidance & support during their stay in Scotland.
Speakers from INSA Scotland (Indian National Students Association-Scotland), Scottish Government, SIAF (Scottish Indian Arts Forum) and the University of Edinburgh shared valuable insights on student life, well-being & opportunities in Scotland.
