The Consulate General of India, Edinburgh in association with Scottish Association of Bengali Arts and Sanskritik Heritage (SABASH), organised Parakram Diwas celebrations at the Consulate to commemorate the 129th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The evening reflected on Netaji’s legacy of courage and patriotism through reflections, music, and dance. The programme also marked 150 years of “Vande Mataram” with a special exhibition, a soulful rendition of Vande Mataram, and a short film highlighting its journey. Grateful to the organisers, participants and performers for beautifully showcasing the life and ideals of Netaji.
