79th Independence Day celebration at CGI, Edinburgh
August 18, 2025
Consul General hoisted the National Flag & read out the excerpts from the address of Hon'ble President on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day of India at Rutland Square Garden, Edinburgh. Special thanks to Deputy Lord Provost of Edinburgh Lezley Marion Cameron, Deputy Provost of Perth Kinross Mr. Andrew Parrott and Members of Scottish Parliament for gracing the event.
On the occasion, the National Anthem was beautifully sung by children. The community members participated in the vibrant cultural programme which included classical dance performances, flute recital, piano melodies and patriotic songs.
