77th Republic Day of India celebration organised by SIAF
January 26, 2026
Consul General was honoured to attend the 77th Republic Day of India celebration in Edinburgh, organised by the Scottish Indian Arts Forum.
He joined the Indian community and friends of India in paying tribute to the values of our Republic justice, liberty, equality and fraternity.
The event also commemorated 150 years of “Vande Mataram”-marked through a special exhibition, a rendition of Vande Mataram, a short film and a quiz and several other performances, honouring India’s rich cultural and freedom legacy.
Thanks to Scottish Indian Arts Forum and all performers for a vibrant evening.
